Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Adults and adolescents above 12 years old: The recommended dose is 10 mg once daily as 1 tablet.The effects of the drug last up to 24 hours. Use in children between 6 and 12 years old: The recommended dose is 5mg twice daily as a half tablet twice daily. The tablets need to be swallowed with a glass of liquid. The tablet can be divided into equal parts if necessary.
