It’s estimated that 3.6 billion plastic toothbrushes are used worldwide every year, unfortunately, roughly 80% of these end up in the sea. A standard toothbrush takes up to a thousand years to decompose, so it’s little wonder that by 2050 it’s predicted that there will be a higher volume of plastic in the oceans than fish. Unlike most toothbrushes L.A. PACIFIC have designed your toothbrush so that the handle and the bristles are BOTH biodegradable. The design is a great sustainable option if you don’t like the wooden feel of bamboo toothbrushes but want an eco-friendly alternative to a plastic toothbrush! TOOTHBRUSH HANDLE: Wheat straw is stalk left over after wheat grains are harvested and its usually considered as waste. Wheat straw toothbrush handles are fully biodegradable. It leaves behind no toxic material, so the compost can be used for future plant growth. BRISTLES: Bristles are a medium strength and made from an environmentally friendly castor oil material. BUY ONE, GIFT ONE in partnership with The National Hygiene Bank: After learning that roughly ~12 million people of the UK and Ireland population are living in poverty (~20% of the population, respectively) we have partnered with The National Hygiene to Gift a Toothbrush for every Toothbrush that you Buy. We believe that hygiene is a basic human right and understand the impact that good oral care can bring to a persons mental, emotional and physical health.

BEST RESULTS - In line with the American Dental Association, we recommend replacing your toothbrush every 3 months or if your bristles start splaying outwards (when you turn your brush away from you). This is important as your bristles are designed at a specific angle to help clean your teeth protecting from plaque / cavities and lift surface stains. Directions for Use: Place your toothpaste on the bristles of your brush. Tilt your brush to a 45 degree angle to your gums and start making a back and forth motion gently in short strokes on your teeth. Brush the outer surfaces, the inside surfaces and the chewing surfaces of all teeth. Note – at the L.A. PACIFIC HQ we are teeth whitening experts! If you’re using for teeth whitening as well as cleaning we recommend that starting in the area of most concern (i.e., the area with the most stains) so the formula has the most time in that area.
